POW-MIA Report

Greetings and Salutations,

To all who did not make it to the Grande Promenade in Colonial Heights, you missed a good time of merriment and fellowship.  This years' program is off to a good start.  Thank you to the Voitures who have already bought pins and shirts.  The pin  "A Grateful Nation Never Forgets" will be a bridge over pin going into this year.  I will find out more information on changes to the program and any new pins while I am down at Orlando for Promenade Nationale, and will put out any new changes when I get back.  I can still get the Eagle, Flag Drape and Dog tag pins as well as shirts with the Eagle or Flag Drape logo.

It is requested that all Voiture Locale Chef de Gares provide me the name, address and e-mail address (if known) for the voyager in your Voiture who will  be your Locale Directeur for this program for your Voiture.  Please send this information to me at the following address:

                  Bill Englert

                  Gr. Dr. POW-MIA du VA

                  40 Rexford Dr.

                  Newport News, VA.  23608-1465

or my e-mail address:   seagypsyone@aol.com

Remember, 19 September is National POW-MIA Recognition/Remembrance Day.  So do something at your September Promenade to let them know that they are truly not forgotten.  Fly the POW-MIA flag and buy a pin today.    FOR GOD AND COUNTRY.
