Sickness and Distress

[From an email dated Wednesday, 14 July 2010] Salute:
Grand Chef Bras's daughter checked the Grand Chef into the V.A. Hospital in Hampton. He has pneumonia. We do not know how long he will be in the hospital. I went to see him this evening and could only stay for short while. Visiting hours are over at 2000 / 8 p.m. I didn't know that.
He is in room 423A if anyone want to go and visit. He said he would accept visitors but phone calls would be better for you. Always thinking of others instead of himself.

[From an email dated Monday, 12 July 2010] ALL - I just wanted to let you know that Wally [Timmons of VL-86] is in the hospital (VA Beach General, Room 220). Had a fainting spell early Friday morning and they're still running tests to determine what's going on. CDR Latchford talked to him today and he sounded in good spirits. Will keep you advised. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
